Looking to CHARGE 2015! What are your plans?

With 2015 rapidly approaching, are you wondering what the new year has in store for you?  Were you disenchanted with what you accomplished in 2014?  Are you wanting to find your purpose?  Do you want to wake up everyday feeling inspired and on top of the world?
Don’t waste another second or before you know it you will be having this same conversation with yourself at the end of 2015.

I left a fast paced, high stress, highly demanding management in pursuit of finding my passion.  What I found what so much more than I bargained for!  When I started my journey I was: At the top of my BMI, exhausted all of the time, a party girl who never passed on a good time, heavy drinker, heavy smoker, developing digestive issues, needing a few scope procedures,  often times sleeping propped up, not exercising, eating horribly and feeling really awful about myself.

Fast forward to today …. I’m in the best health of my life, have transformed mind, body and spirit and have been filled with a passion to help others live the best life they possibly can.  I work for myself, come and go as I please, have freedom to travel, and my reward is helping people change their lives …. nothing better than that!

I’m looking for people to join my team in the new year that are serious about building a full or part time business from home.
Requirements:
  • Have a minimum of 10 hours to commit per week
  • Have a passion for healthy living
  • Love helping others
  • Are teachable and driven
  • Have the ability to dream big!

If this sounds like you please fill out this application and I will then contact you for a time to set up an over the phone interview.

Trying to Juggle it all!

It's been almost one month since I have made my last blog post!  That's a long time and it has forced me to examine my schedule and where I am spending my time.  I have been working to get my health/fitness coach business off the ground for about 1.5 years now.  I absolutely love working for myself but it takes a lot of discipline, dedication and consistency.  It takes doing the mundane, non sexy, tasks day in and day out (especially on the days you don't want too!)  It takes the ability and the courage to fail forward and to stop at nothing!  Above all else it takes time and nobody can tell you what that amount of time will be.
I do know this journey, has taught me so much more than business skills.  I have learned so many life changing skills, that have entered into every part of my life.  So what are the two practices that brought on this profound change in my life?  1.  Personal development & 2.  My gratitude project.

Personal Development
I had no clue what this was when I started my company and in fact hadn't picked up a book since college.  Beachbody encourages all their independent coaches to engage in personal development daily.  We're not even talking a great deal of time here, we're talking a minimum of reading 10 pages or listening to 10 minutes of an audio daily.  When I first heard that I remember thinking, "what good is that small amount of time going to do?"  Little did I know what a HUGE impact just those 10 pages per day can make!  It's completely changed my life!  Ok so the question I get a lot is, "How do you know where to start? or how do you select your materials?"  So what I do is take the areas I have the most questions in or the areas causing me the most friction and  .... jump right in!  You have to be willing to get really uncomfortable with yourself!!  So maybe it's a:  Communication issue you're having with a friend or partner, or you're terrified of public speaking or you have crazy control issues .... whatever your triggers are, jump in and be willing to work on them.  Having freedom from your issues is the most liberating feeling on the planet!

My Gratitude Project
As some of you know, and some of you may not, I am doing a gratitude project this year.  So everyday, in 2014, I am selecting one thing each day I am grateful for.  This project has really shifted the way I view my life.  We all have days that are stressful or just down right not so great!  I have found by selecting one thing I'm grateful for, it completely shifts the focus from the not so great day, to the one thing I'm grateful for.  It is forcing me to not just acknowledge and celebrate all of the big things that occur but to stop and appreciate the small things just as much.  I have found that by placing myself in a space of gratitude daily, whether I was going to or not, has shifted my energy.  I am so much more conscious of everything around me not just those blatantly good things that are coming my way.  It places me in a space of gratitude everyday and has brought so many blessings into my life.  I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.  Make it a family affair and get everyone involved :)  If you'd like to check out my project and see what i'm grateful for, check out the tab on this blog labeled The Gratitude Project.

Transformational Tuesday!

Each week we've been doing a transformational Tuesday photo on Team Aloha, to highlight someone's journey.  One of my amazing team members, Lauren, is so creative and makes these amazing photo's all the time.  I felt so special when she sent me my very own this week.  So this week's transformational Tuesday photo is .... yours truly :)

When I look at this, I have to sit back and reflect on where I am today in my life and how far I've come!  Not even 2 short years ago I was:  At the top of my BMI, exhausted all of the time, had horrible digestive issues, didn't like the way I looked and was not happy about where I was in my life.  It was then that I joined my first Beachbody Challenge Group!  Fast forward to today ....
I am in the best shape of my life and still rocking those same Beachbody Challenge Groups!  The only difference now is .... I'm a coach!  If someone would have told me a few years ago I would be a health/fitness coach I would have hysterically laughed in their face!  I was the complete opposite picture of health!  I partied, smoked, never worked out, didn't eat well, didn't get enough sleep ... I was horribly abusing my body and it was totally catching up with me.
I don't know where I would be without the support and accountability of Beachbody and my Team Aloha family.  This experience has completely changed my life and I am so humbled and grateful every day for that!
It's NEVER too late to change your path, make a different decision and go after what will REALLY make you happy!
DECIDE ~ COMMIT ~ SUCEED!

I'm Back

I know it has been a few weeks since I posted to my blog but it's all for good reason!  Team Aloha is growing at such an awesome rate - it's been amazing!  We have been working on a training program for over 1 year now and it's been through many revisions.  We have tried different approaches, changed things we didn't feel were effective, tried other things we thought may be ....
I finally feel like our training system is getting to where it should be, after A LOT of hard work!!  Coming off the cruise, I feel like everything became so clear.  It wasn't one thing that happened. It was a series of ah ha moments that led to the picture becoming so clear and wow what a powerful moment let me just say!

I had to devote my time to making training videos, editing and organizing posts.  I knew that a few weeks of devotion to this project would pay off in the long run.  In the past, I would have tried to cram in everything and I would have really stressed myself out ... but not the new developed me!  I had to take a few things off my plate temporarily, my blog being one of them, until I finished my project.  Although I definitely missed my blog, I was able to allow my creativity and energy to flow through my training and not get stressed out.  I'm learning to be more flexible in life, although it's still not easy for me.  Meditating has helped me in this area greatly.
I feel so blessed to be attracting positive people into my business and I am really excited to see where the rest of this year goes! I am happy to be back and connected to my blog :)

The SS Beachbody returns to port

Cruise Itinerary

Today we are waking up back at port in Fort Lauderdale and I'm sure we're saying, "wow, what an amazing trip!!"  I can't wait to post my pictures and share my stories with you all!  Although we return to port by 7AM, we don't leave Florida until 5PM.  We'll find somewhere to hang out for a few hours and enjoy our last few hours of sunshine.  Although I will hate to leave the sun, I absolutely love Seattle and will be anxious to get back to my dog Marley.  I can tell you one thing, I'm already working on earning my FREE trip to Cancun in 2015!  I wouldn't miss it for the world!  This is such an amazing group of people that I am SO blessed to have found.  No matter what state I'm in, I could find a local Beachbody network that would welcome me with open arms and that is the coolest thing ever!

Next on the agenda, is Super Saturday in April.  They are held in just about every state, and sometimes in multiple locations.  They are held every quarter, so there are 4 per year.  They allow us to all get together and hang out, hear upcoming news, success stories, often times get in a free workout and sample Shakeology.  It's a great opportunity to invite those who may be interested in coaching so they can see what Beachbody is all about and learn more about the coaching opportunity.  Next month we are holding a neon theme where we will be getting dressed up in fun neon wear.  Why?  Well why not :)  Come on who doesn't want to rock out some neon!  If you live near Redmond, WA and want to come and check it out, please let me know!

Then it's on to Summit in June!  That is our HUGE annual Beachbody conference held in Vegas at the MGM Grande.  It's the most electrifying weekend that just pumps you full of knowledge, motivation and inspiration.  It's another over the top Beachbody weekend full of:  Training from the top coaches, parties, success stories, awards, etc.  People who attend this event see a MASSIVE increase in their business after attending.  I wouldn't miss any of these events for the world ... I just love them.  Not to mention how much they are helping me grow my business!

Day at sea

Cruise Itinerary

Today we will be at sea all day and have some panel presentations scheduled.  I have a feeling this is when we are going to get the skinny on the new PiYo program coming out.  I can't wait to come home with all the details to share with everyone!  Obviously since I recently became a certified PiYo Strength instructor, I'm super excited about this one!!  Check back in regularly as I will be posting awesome details about this upcoming program.

My business partner and coach, Marissa and I, will be spending a lot of time on this trip talking about the plans we have for Team Aloha this year!  We have worked hard to create a training system and a team that operates as a family, so we can all excel and reach our dreams!  Team Aloha is growing at such an awesome rate and I can't wait to see what this year brings!  I love having a group of people that have my back no matter what and who push me to be the very best that I can be!  I am grateful and blessed for my Team Aloha family and this is just the beginning :)

Waking up in Grand Cayman

Cruise Itinerary

- Today we will be waking up in Grand Cayman.  I haven't been on a cruise, or to the Caribbean Islands in about 15 years or so, but I do remember loving the Cayman Islands.  I remember crystal blue waters and white sandy beaches.  It's also a really cute island with bright colorful architecture and friendly people.  We'll be grabbing a morning workout and then heading out to see what adventuring can be found in the Cayman Islands!

Tonight will be another awesome Beachbody party.  The theme is White Party and will be held poolside.  I've worked for many different companies, in many different capacities and I can honestly say I've never seen a company that is SO awesome to their employees!  Parties, incentives, rewards and amazing opportunity around every corner.  We work hard but play harder :)

Day one on the SS Beachbody!

Cruise itinerary today ~

Day one and I can't wait to see what today brings!!  We are ready to have an awesome time, with some amazing people.

This morning we will be taking part in a sunrise yoga session on the top of the ship at 6am. What a way to start the day

If yoga isn't your speed, all of Beachbody's TOP trainers will be on board, so we can pick whatever kind of workout we feel like!
-If Shaun T. is your speed, he will be holding a 7AM workout

-Or maybe you are loving Beachbody's newest family member, Autumn Calabrese, the creator of the 21 Day Fix.  We can workout with her at 7:30AM.

-Last but not least, the ever popular, Tony Horton, will be holding a workout at 8AM.

So cool that these trainers will be on board, hanging out with us all week!

Today we will be at sea all day and will be getting dressed in our finest for formal evening tonight. It's always fun to get really dressed up, have a great meal and mingle with all of your friends.  I still can't believe that I earned all of this just by setting a great example with my own health and supporting others on their health journey.  Next years trip is an all inclusive trip to Cancun ... message me to find out how you can start earing your way to come with us for free :)
It's still surreal to me!  All I can say is ..... Thank you Beachbody!

All Aboard the SS Beachbdy!

So as many of you know, my all expenses paid cruise to the Caribbean, compliments of Beachbody is in a few short days!!  Beachbody really knows how to take care of their coaches and they throw the best parties ever!!  This year we are taking over an entire Royal Caribbean cruise ship, which promises to be a blast I'm sure.  I earned myself, and my fiancĂ©, a balcony suite and $500 in on board spending cash.  It is an amazing feeling to know that I earned this trip just by keeping myself and others accountable to their health and offering them support on their journey.  The feeling it brings into my life, is reason enough but to earn an awesome trip on top of it, is just surreal to me.  I have always loved to travel and have volunteered helping others my whole life, so this combines the best of both worlds for me.  So all aboard the SS Beachbody is about to set sail!  Although I will be completely unplugging, I will be posting our daily our itinerary so you can follow along with us.
Next years trip is all-inclusive Cancun Mexico .... will you be there?  I know I will be!
